MONARCH 101

Welcome to Monarch 101! This overview will walk you through what sets us apart from other companies, the types of products we use, how the process works from the customer’s perspective, and how our multiple departments work together.

Re-Bath is a franchised bathroom remodeling company with locations nationwide and is the largest residential bathroom remodeling company in the United States.

Our sister company, Monarch Kitchens, has officially launched and is now offering kitchen remodeling services. While our two companies provide different services, Re-Bath is the parent company, so you’ll often hear Re-Bath mentioned in training and everyday conversation.

What makes the team you just joined unique is that you are a part of our corporate stores. Our corporate locations include Arizona, Charlotte, NC, Raleigh, NC, Asheville, NC, and Greenville, SC.

These stores are owned and operated by Re-Bath Corporate, which is headquartered in Arizona. As part of our corporate team, we have unique opportunities to test new practices, work with larger teams and specialized departments, and help drive growth and expansion across the company.

Many of the strategies and improvements developed within our corporate stores are eventually introduced throughout the entire Re-Bath & now Monarch franchise network!

  • Any Size, Any Scope: As long as we are demoing out the cabinets and countertops, we can remodel any sized kitchen. From simple to elaborate we can do it all!

Every kitchen remodel follows a defined scope of work that serves as our minimum standard. This includes the removal of the existing cabinets, countertops, sink, and faucet, followed by the installation of all-new replacement products. This baseline scope must be met on every project before any additional work is discussed with the customer.

Once the minimum scope has been met, additional upgrades and services can be discussed with the customer based on their needs and preferences. Staff should be familiar with the full range of available add-ons, which may include but are not limited to:

  • Backsplash.
  • Custom kitchen islands.
  • Lighting.
  • Flooring.
  • Wine bars.
  • Custom pantries.
  • Breakfast seating nooks.
  • Major kitchen reconfiguration.
  • And more!

Cabinets – Masterbrand Cabinets & Diamond Express Line.

Countertops – Daltile (any slab product, granite, quartz, quartzite) & Solid Surface Livingstone.

Backsplash & Tile flooring – Daltile.

Fixtures faucets & lighting – Moen.

It starts with an initial free in home consultation.

Our first consultation is always free for the customer. Our kitchen designer will go out to the home, get an idea of what the customer is looking for, and offer a general ballpark figure for what it could cost.

If the customer is okay with the ballpark figure and would like to move into the next steps, the designer will collect a design fee that can go toward the cost of the remodel. This opens up the second part of the consultation, where we take detailed measurements and have the customer pick the products they actually want for their kitchen. Then, an accurate, down-to-the-penny estimate is provided.

If the customer decides to move forward with us and sign a contract, then we will create a CAD drawing (3D rendering) of what their kitchen remodel will look like before we begin.

We open up great communication.

Once the customer signs a contract, they receive a copy by email within three days. We then open a group chat that includes the customer, their kitchen designer, assigned project manager, installer, and any administrative team members needed to help oversee the project.

Throughout the process, customers are kept informed of timelines, each step of the remodel, and daily progress updates once work begins. If a customer ever has a question or concern, everyone assigned to the project is notified so it can be addressed in a timely manner.

We order the supplies & chosen products.

Once all necessary supplies have arrived, we schedule the installation. We make sure we have absolutely everything needed for the remodel, down to the exact quantity of screws. This helps ensure that once the project begins in the customer’s home, there are no delays caused by missing materials or parts.

We start the installation process.

At Monarch, we do not use subcontractors. Every installer is hired and trained by Monarch and has passed a 50-state background check and drug screening.

We take great pride in respecting our customers’ homes by keeping the space clean, tidying the worksite daily, and providing updates throughout the entire demolition and installation process.

A simple kitchen can be completed in as little as 1-2 weeks, while larger projects may take 3 weeks or longer depending on the scope of work. Our goal is to complete each project with as little disruption to the customer as possible while maintaining the highest quality craftsmanship.

Monarch also handles many important parts of the remodeling process that customers may not always think about, including lead testing, pulling permits, scheduling final inspections, processing financing, etc.

Monarch customer for life.

Once we complete a remodel, that customer becomes a Monarch customer for life. They can reach out to us at any time for warranty claims, service requests, or repairs. We also have our own in-house service department to support our customers and help ensure their needs are handled quickly and professionally.
